According to Jesus, eternal life is knowing God. I suppose one reason is that It will take an eternal life to experience all that He desires to be for us. When we have lived ten thousand years, we will have barely started discovering the many new and wonderful things about Him
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” Jo.17.3 “
