Our circumstances change, as should our application of some of the truths we believe. Some truths are absolute to circumstances and never change. Some are relative and change in keeping with our situation. It can be unwise to confuse the two. A rigid application of some passage in the Bible may not be the best way to honor its intent. This is why the good book condones getting your ox out of a pit on Sunday.
