Every request in this prayer is of equal importance. I am especially drawn to the words “the will to choose it.” I often find myself knowing what is good, but the will to choose it gives way to other desires. I am certain the answer lies with God, because He is the One who “works in me to will and do.” He asks me to do my part which is work out what He works in me.
“...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to do his good pleasure.” Phil.2
