It is one thing to know about God and an entirely different thing to actually experience Him. After all, would you want to ride in a plane with someone who knows a great deal about flying or with someone who has actually flown a plane? Knowledge about someone is not the same as knowledge of someone. God offers to anybody and everybody the opportunity to know Him. ~“So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. We find value in devotional practices like reading Scripture, praying, going to a church gathering, or communion only when participating in them is in fact a true communion of our soul with God. We may do all these things religiously and still miss actual communion with Him.
