Did Jesus really mean that if I am to be His disciple, I have to give up everything? Is there nothing that I cannot keep for myself? After years of trying to follow Him, I have concluded that not only must I yield every single thing, I have to surrender even my failed efforts to follow Him as I should. Christ desires our complete trust in everything.
