Discipline is training. It is teaching yourself a skill by doing something over and over again until it becomes, as we say, second nature. It doesn’t matter if the goal is losing weight, or purging negative thoughts, the only way to get there is to unlearn and relearn, to practice saying no to one thing and saying yes to another.
