How can we be free to please God if we are entangled in the web of wanting, human approval. It is a despairing prison when we try to live up to the expectations of people. Some sad souls never get over demanding parents or a domineering spouse, a workaholic boss even a controlling preacher. We must learn to serve people yes, but as God directs and looking only for His approval.
