“I am among you as one who serves.” Jesus

It staggers me to realize that if I am to see the face of Jesus I will probably have to look down to see Him washing my feet. Christ shows us that a true King rules over His subjects by being a servant to them. God offers to serve us every time we ask something of Him in prayer. Humans rule the earth only as stewards. It is ultimately God’s world we litter and pollute. By giving us dominion He has assigned us the care of the world, not the corruption of it.
