Prayer is not giving advice to God; it is joining Him as a partner in blessing others. God wants us to share in the blessing of dispensing His blessings to others. Deal with problems that come your way, not with problems that could come your way.

Depression has many causes. One is simply thinking too much, especially about things that could go wrong. People have powerful imaginations and can conjure up all sorts of nasties where none really exist. Lasso any thought that does not address this moment.
