We must learn to live below the surface if we are to discover something more than a superficial life. God has buried some beautiful things deep inside, not to keep them hidden, but to teach us the value of seeking and finding. Do not waste your life with pebbles on the surface when there are diamonds below. Do not let the outer shell of the oyster keep you from seeking the pearl inside.
