“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Heb.11
When the Bible speaks of seeking God it does not have in mind some casual search. We do not look for God as we would flip aimlessly through a magazine. God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Like any relationship, you usually get out of it what you put into it. This is undoubtedly why some people regard Him as impersonal and distant and others see Him as their Father and friend.
