God is our Father, Shepherd, Husband, Friend, and many others. Jesus also likened Him to a Gardener working His vineyard. And what is a gardener but one who works daily, always tending the vines--nurturing, watering, pruning, and weeding. How wonderful it is to know that it is God’s desire and pleasure that we live fruitful lives. Everything He does for us and in us is to that end. Conversations Within” ts 7/8/2014
