We don’t have to reach bottom before we start climbing back up. Sadly, many do, and as a result continue to cause more damage, both to themselves and others. If I have made a bad decision, it does not necessarily mean that I must follow it with another. The best response to falling down is to get up. There is great value in turning around the moment you realize you made a wrong turn. Nobody likes going back, but sometimes going back is the only way to move forward.
