In the hour of His death, Jesus was granting life. He answered the thief dying next to Him who, with simple faith, asked only to be remembered. We would all like to be remembered this way. After all, Jesus did tell us, “Ask and you shall receive!” Who would have thought that everlasting life is ours for the asking? But that is exactly what Christ is offering to all who trust Him.
