It is humbling to realize that God has made Himself our servant and then tells us it is in our best interest to join Him in serving others. I think that before we can be of any real service to people we must first embrace all the ways Christ desires to serve us. We need not only His example, but His enabling power and wisdom if our service to others is to have any lasting value.
