The expression “make it your ambition” in the Good Book translates the Greek, “to love honor.” It entails finding our happiness in honorable things. Namely, we are told to love the quiet life and to embrace it. Do I lead a quiet life? The quiet life begins in the quiet soul, and the soul is made quiet in the satisfaction of all that God is for us in the present moment.
