Christmas Eve celebrations may look forward in faith as much as they look back with joy. The eve of Christ’s first coming stirs in our heart a quiet hope for that eve of expectation at His second. The faithful wait with eager expectation to the end of all sorrow and pain where glory unspeakable awaits. The tomorrow of all tomorrows is upon us more than we know.
