Christ is God’s gift to the world short and simple. His excellent gift is both appropriate and valuable. Christ came that God might forgive our sins. What could be more appropriate than that to a world needing forgiveness? And, consider the cost His gift came to us? “Amazing love how can it be that Thou my God didst die for me.”
