“Are we safe in God’s hands? Well it depends on what we consider safe. If by it we mean a life free from danger and pain, then no. God sent Jesus into harm’s way. But if we mean that God’s goodness will prevail, that all will express that goodness in the end, and when the dust settles we will be standing victorious, then yes, we are surely safe in God’s hands.
