It is good for me to be reminded that my life is not my own. I belong to God, and though He has given me the freedom to love Him or not, my every breath is borrowed--the ones I use to thank Him, even the ones I use for selfish ends. Fundamentally, I believe that I was made for God to enjoy. Equally so, I believe I was made to enjoy Him. My life lays hold of its greatest expression when these two come together.
