God invites us to the sheer joy of doing more than is expected. He wants each of us to excel--to go beyond and discover the nature of abounding love. His kind of love is not restricted, it is unleashed. Because love is its own reward, we are encouraged to abound in it more and more, even to love those who hate us; we might even say especially those who hate us.
