That God loves fallen people is surely seen because of everything He has given to help us live in a fallen world. A healthy fear or heightened awareness of danger is one of them. Such fear is a gift to sharpen our response to threats and there are many threats in our messed up world. It is only when fear becomes panic and is uncontrolled that can cause us harm.
