It is one thing to sin presumptuously and another to presume that God will forgive us when we ask him to do so. The former is used as an excuse to sin because you believe God will forgive you, and the latter expresses a confident faith that God will forgive us after we have repented.  “Keep back your servant... from presumptuous sins.”  Conversations Within” ts 10/9/2014
