The Spirit of God generally convicts people when they do wrong. Unfortunately, people like to play “Jr. Holy Spirit” and run around trying to correct everything and everybody. We tend to forget our own shortcomings when we focus on the sins of others. If we need mercy with God, it is wise to be merciful in our assessment of others.
