It is not so much that we must endure less than perfect circumstances, but our silly expectations of them. Face it, it will never be perfect in this place. A wise person does not strive for perfection, but for excellence. Give life your best. It will never be good enough but Christ will make up what is lacking--somewhat like the parent who accepts the assistance of a child who wants to help with a task beyond their abilities.
