To experience forgiveness we must want and seek it. We may even have God’s forgiveness, but if we fail to acknowledge it, we can certainly miss its joy. The one who asks forgiveness and the one who grants it, share, both, in the joy and union of the love that covers a multitude of transgressions. Such union is Heaven itself.
