Each of the seven days of creation began with the coming of night. We are told that the Lord gives His counsel even at night. The angels keep watch at night. The Artist of creation paints the portrait of His redemptive love in sending us Jesus at night. He has made night, in all its forms, the backdrop of the day of Jesus who is the Morning Star rising in our hearts.
