If we are to see anything clearly we must first see ourselves in God’s light. I will never know anything clearly until I first know myself. The message of Jesus is that we must see ourselves as God sees us. And how does He see us? We are precious people in need of forgiveness, and He gladly gives it--even joyfully gives it--to all who would but ask. Those who mourn are comforted.
