I think one reason God is there for us when we need it is so that we can be there for others when they need someone too. God often comes to us in the comforting presence of a friend. The best comfort food is knowing that people care, and they care enough to express it. No one should face life’s difficulties alone. Serve up a plate of comfort. They will feel better, and you will feel better too.
