The only way to win an argument is to avoid getting into one. We can train ourselves to listen to a different point of view without getting into an argument over it. It is wise to consider if the topic is even worth discussing. What good is talk if it will not accomplish anything. Better to do something about matters that matter, rather than just talking about them.
