Faith believes a promise before it is fulfilled. God has made a good many promises to His children and made good on them. Faith lays hold of them and energizes the comfort found in them. This is what Jesus was speaking about when He told us that we live by every word of God. When the smoke clears we, not our doubts, worries or fears, will be the last one standing.
