How can we ease the tension between seeking justice and showing mercy? Christ is said to be God’s solution to satisfy His justice and at the same time offer us mercy. His sacrifice may give us a hint about how we can practice justice and love mercy. We could practice them in something as simple as visiting someone in prison or helping to take care of their family while they serve out a just sentence.
