It is wise to slow down in the fog and surely to reserve passing judgment in a cloud of conflicting opinion. Do not make haste in the dark of night or in the dark of ignorance. Prejudice will predispose us to judge before all is heard, when it would be better to judge after. The worst kind of prejudice is the one we do not know we have.
