Of God’s many gifts, few surpass the value of a friend. A friend is a companion who walks with you in good times and bad, who helps shoulder the weight of life’s burdens and celebrates with you its joys. Everyone needs at least one true friend. When Jesus offers us His friendship it is often realized in our friends. He sits with us when they sit with us. He serves us when they serve us. Thank God for friends.
