Jesus did not own a house and had little; Abraham, the father of faith, was wealthy and had much. Both had the blessing of God the Father because both used what they had to advance the Kingdom of God. Money is not the root of evil, the love of it is. Money and possessions are only a tool to be used to live and love others, or to sacrifice in order to live and love others. Do not serve your possessions, make your possessions serve you.
