If you love someone you will undoubtedly be hurt by them. If we are to love and I mean love in the sense of giving, we must learn to deal with our disappointments. Love endures. The driving force in love is goodness. We love when we seek what is good for those around us. There may be feelings which help us patiently endure whatever is needed, but often our feelings are the very thing we must endure in order to love people.
