In order for me to change my heart I must first want to do so. When we are able, we always do what we want. Jesus offers us a bit of wisdom. We generally want what we value, in other words, what we believe will give us happiness. If selfishness has never satisfied the longings of my heart, why should I ever expect it to do so? If we are wise, we should teach your heart to treasure only that which is true treasure, only that which provides lasting happiness. Conversations Within” ts 8/8/2015
