When we put our whole heart into loving someone, we love the whole person, faults and all. The thing about loving wholeheartedly is that we love others not as they deserve, but as our commitment to their goodness directs us. This does not mean we have to like everything about them, but it does mean that we always act in a manner that seeks what is good for them.
