If I understand God’s word, He tells us that happiness is not so much a pursuit as it is the result of several things. The blessed person is said to be happy. The upright person is said to be happy. The satisfied person is said to be happy. In short, happiness grows in us when God is pleased with our attitudes and actions. To look at it another way; the right attitude and the right actions are like seeds, and when watered with God blessings, happiness is the fruit.
