Modern culture seems to care more about appearing authentic than being authentic. We have made a show out of coming across as genuine.

 I prefer the candid photo over one that is posed. There is something true about a picture that captures someone living in a moment over one trying to create one. Be genuine, don’t try to appear that you are. Don’t rehearse moments, be fully in them.
