Don’t be surprised by what should be expected.

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.” 1Pet.4

Some things are best if they are expected. Common experience teaches us that we should expect hardship in life. God has evidently decided that trials are necessary for our development.
