Just about everyone I know, myself included, has traded something of lasting value for something of temporal value. We trade away our health by making poor choices in diet and exercise. We trade our marriage or relationship with our kids by giving priority to our career. We trade lasting joy for momentary pleasure, or give preference to the urgent over the important. All in all, we are pretty poor traders. God will help us with this if we let Him. Conversations Within” ts 6/23/2014
