If there is ever a time to please oneself, it is after we have taught our heart to find our joy--not in things, but in service to others. Feel good about leaving people and places better than you find them. Make it a goal every day to do something that will benefit someone, especially when the only good you get out of it is the simple joy of knowing you have done so.
