A modest person is guarded in their use of knowledge, unlike the proud who gives little thought to their words. One practices verbal restraint, the other speaks whatever’s on their mind. One is quiet and reserved but the other is constantly trying to be the center of attention. Radiate an ambiance that invites and attracts rather than one that tries to impress and overpowers. Modesty is the twin sister of humility.
