Forethought is an activity of the wise. We should not worry about the future, but it is wise to prepare for it, especially when you know something is headed your way. People who live on the coast prepare for hurricanes, people who live on the plains prepare for tornadoes. A wise person will give forethought and make preparations for a predictable crisis. Don’t create problems for yourself, but be ready for them before they occur.
