When you have given your best, what more is there? Even if your best doesn’t accomplish what you are after, your best is your best. There is a deep satisfaction and peace when you know you did all you could do. It produces that singular joy that is discovered in accepting the results after you gave it your all. Someone has said, “Do your best. Give God the rest.” Everything will be as God decides. May He smile on our efforts and may our efforts be the best we can give.
