Give yourself completely to the matter at hand, if the matter at hand matters at all. This often means doing one thing at a time, and doing it well. Excellence is first an attitude before it is an action. It is an approach to living, one that gives attention to detail. The eye can focus on one thing at a time. Make beautiful every part and the whole will follow.
