God speaks to people all of the time. A random comment made by a friend; a billboard on the side of the road; witnessing something in nature; or reading words from the Bible have all been means of bringing us His words. Of course many voices can speak to the soul, not all of them good but every one of them can and will use the same means. It is our willingness to do God’s will that brings us the certainty that it is God speaking to us, not our selfishness or some demon trying to impersonate Him.
