Christians believe that we have two sets of genes. Our physical genes cause us to bear a resemblance to our physical parents. Now that Christ has entered our heart we are starting to bear a spiritual resemblance to Him. He has implanted a set of divine genes in those who are spiritually reborn. Our physical genes have left their mark on each of us and the clock of our mortality is winding down. The good news is that the spiritual genes of Christ are beginning to leave their mark in us and the clock of immortality is winding up. Conversations Within” ts 3/21/2013 (Selma, AL)
