Why did God harden Pharaoh's heart? The Bible also tells us, “And Pharaoh hardened his heart.” God simply let Pharaoh have his way. In other words, He gave Pharaoh over to his own desires. God will not force His Lordship on us because love demands that we be free to love Him in return. But, this freedom is a two-edged sword. We can choose to refuse God His rightful place in our lives.
